Red Bute Plum plant

Red Beaut is an early variety that can be harvested in December and January. It produces medium sized fruit, bright red with a purple blush and sweet, juicy pale amber flesh with a semi-cling stone. Needs to be pollinated with another variety such as Billington or Santa Rosa. They grow best in a sunny, sheltered position with fertile, free-draining soil.

The Red Bute Plum has a circular shape and of medium thickness, its skin is of red wine colour and its yellow, thick and juicy flesh appears to be very tasty.
